The DLR Group Chicago commemorated the firm’s founding by hosting an open house at its 333 West Wacker Drive location, June 7.
DLR Group was founded April 1, 1966 in Omaha. Its Chicago office employs more than 30 design professionals and the office recently achieved a LEED Gold Certification. Currently, the firm as a whole staffs 750 employee-owners in 24 locations around the globe and will celebrate its 50th birthday through September 30, 2016.
In addition, the Chicago office will shut its doors June 13 for a day of volunteer service with the Green Star Movement, where Chicago employees will help create and design artwork at a local school in Hyde Park.
