The City of Plymouth on March 22 unanimously approved Doran Companies‘ seven-story, 176-unit project at 10000 State Highway 55 in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Bassett Creek, the working name for the project, will consist of studio, alcove, one- and two-bedroom apartments and will include amenities that are typical in Doran-developed properties. Those amenities include an outdoor pool, spa, fitness center, sauna, entertainment room, pet spa and more.
Designed by Doran Architecture, the 2.7-acre site is located adjacent to a retail center and east of the Bachman’s Garden Center along Highway 55. City officials approved a revised text amendment to the comprehensive plan from 20-35 units per acre and changed the zoning from business campus to a planned unit development as well as raised height restrictions to make way for the seven-story project.
Doran Construction is expecting to break ground in late summer 2022.
