An 11,250-square-foot building located at 1012-1014 Davis Street in downtown Evanston, Illinois sold to a buyer for $2,300,000. The new owner plans to convert the site, located on a 15,050-square-foot development lot, into a child care use. Angelo Labriola and Paul Cawthon of SVN Chicago Commercial were the sole advisors in the transaction.

“The new buyer plans to convert the property previously owner-occupied by Audio Consultants into a national day-care expanding within the Chicagoland marketplace,” Labriola said. “The new owner saw great potential with its proximity to the Metra and CTA Purple Line train. The property is two adjoined buildings with a large first floor, partial second floor and included a parking lot in the rear creating the potential for a private outdoor play area making the site an ideal conversion.”
