Draper and Kramer, Incorporated‘s Laiche Gutter from the firm’s residential management team has been honored with the 2025 Chicagoland Apartment Marketing and Management Excellence (CAMME) Award for Property Manager in the Affordable category.
Gutter is the property manager at The Oaks, a 190-unit senior living community owned and operated by Draper and Kramer at 820 S. Park Terrace in Chicago’s Printers Row neighborhood. She joined the on-site team at The Oaks in January 2021, seamlessly navigating the unique considerations of managing a senior living community amid the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring smooth operations at the property that continue today.
While working at The Oaks, Gutter has also focused on professional development, earning her leasing license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in April 2021 as well as Certified Occupancy Specialist designation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which she received in March 2022.
The 2025 CAMME Awards were presented by the Chicagoland Apartment Association on Friday, April 25, at the Fairmont Chicago, Millenium Park, as part of the organization’s annual event to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in the multifamily housing industry.
