Draper and Kramer, Incorporated has announced that 61 Banks Street, the firm’s 57-unit ultra-luxury boutique Gold Coast property, has been honored with a 2023 Chicagoland Apartment Marketing and Management Excellence (CAMME) Award for Property Excellence.
Located on a prominent stretch of Lake Shore Drive, 61 Banks was designed by architect Booth Hansen with interiors by Darcy Bonner and landscaping by Jacobs/Ryan. The two- and three-bedroom residences offer rental living with Lake Michigan views, full amenities and expansive floor plans with high-end finishes including premium engineered plank flooring, natural stone countertops and Bosch and Jenn-Air stainless appliances. The elegantly designed building elevates rental living to new levels, and since its 2019 opening, 61 Banks has exceeded expectations across multiple benchmarks including occupancy, with the building consistently remaining at or near full occupancy due to high demand for this level of luxury residences.
The 2023 CAMME Awards were presented by the Chicagoland Apartment Association on Friday, April 14, at the Marriott Marquis Chicago, during its signature event to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in the multifamily housing industry.
