DS Containers, Inc.‘s building at DuPage Business Center in West Chicago will be getting a 250,575 square foot build-to-suit expansion, bringing it to total 550,853 total square feet.
The build-to-suit expansion will house the company’s manufacturing operations, including a 10-ton crane, and accommodate its metal can production. The additional space and increased roof and floor loads will enable the company to grow its current capabilities while providing room to expand manufacturing further.
DS Containers manufactures two-piece polymer-coated steel aerosol cans and offers overcaps, bag on valves, liquid pour overcaps, and polymer-coated steel products for aerosols and liquid/viscous products. The build-to-suit expansion features will increase the building office space to 25,183 square feet, 22 exterior dock doors and 139 car parking spaces across 25 acres.
New Continuum and Simpson Manufacturing Company are also tenants at DuPage Business Center. The business park features diverse communication and utility infrastructure, fully improved sites with off-site detention, and adjacency to key transportation routes.
