DTZ has represented Ignite USA in a headquarters relocation to a full floor at 180 N. LaSalle St. from its previous location in the West Loop.
Ignite is an innovator in the beverage-ware industry. The fast-growing company markets its products under the Contigo brand in the housewares industry and the Avex brand in the outdoor/sporting goods industry.
After an extensive stay vs. relocate analysis performed by DTZ’s Executive Vice President Chris Wood and Associate Vice President Jordan Decker, Ignite decided to relocate to a new headquarters rather than expand and retrofit its existing office. The new 21,000-square-foot headquarters space will maintain the creative culture and collaborative work environment for Ignite’s employees, while strengthening their corporate image of an urban, Chicago-based firm.
DTZ negotiated the deal with Joy Jordan and Jack O’Brien of the Telos Group, representing the owner, an affiliate of Beacon Capital Partners.
