Duke Realty Corporation’s Chicago office has signed lease renewals with three of its long-time customers in December 2013. With these lease commitments, which total 382,259 square feet, Duke Realty maintains 98.7 percent occupancy in its industrial portfolio in the Chicago market.
“Renewals by our existing customers are the best indicators of their satisfaction with our properties and our people,” said Steve Schnur, senior vice president of Duke Realty’s Midwest region. “We make every effort to ensure complete customer satisfaction and are pleased that these companies have elected to remain Duke Realty tenants.”
The three recent lease renewals include:
- Bon-Ton Distribution Inc., which provides warehouse and distribution services for its parent company’s retail stores, has renewed its lease of Duke Realty’s 248,720-square-foot building at 1935 Jefferson in Naperville. Larry Hanley with Midwest Commercial Real Estate represented Bon-Ton in the transaction, while Susan Bergdoll represented Duke Realty.
- Supply Network Inc., a company that offers transportation, warehousing and distribution, renewed its 77,070-square foot lease in Carol Stream I located at 640 Center Ave. in Carol Stream. Ryan O’Leary with Duke Realty represented ownership.
- SFS Distribution Inc., a transportation and warehouse/distribution provider, renewed and extended its 56,469-square-foot lease in Carol Stream III located at 370 Kimberly Drive in Carol Stream. Kirk Armour with CBRE represented SFS Distribution and Susan Bergdoll represented Duke Realty.
