Louisville-based Duncan Commercial Real Estate closed the recent sale of the historic Distillery Commons at Lexington and Payne Streets in Louisville’s Irish Hill neighborhood.
DCRE sold this property to Bamboo Acquisitions LLC, a St. Louis-based developer that plans to redevelop the site into mixed-use residential, retail/restaurant and office property. Bamboo Acquisitions purchased buildings 200, 300, 600 and 900 from Kinetic Properties as well as the former rick house, building 100, from Barrel House Investments. The rickhouse was recently condemned by the City of Louisville and demolished last month.
Kinetic Properties has owned Distillery Commons since the mid 1970s, purchasing it from National Distillers.
Duncan Commercial Real Estate agent Suzanne Cheek listed Distillery Commons with Will Duncan and Todd Whitchurch in 2019 and represented Kinetic Properties and Barrel House Investments, LLC in the sale.
Bamboo Acquisitions, an affiliated company with Intelica Commercial Real Estate, was represented by Dan Dokovic.
