Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Margaret “Peggy” Graham to its real estate practice group as senior counsel in the firm’s Chicago office.
Graham’s practice concentrates on real estate tax issues involving exemptions, incentives and assessments. Throughout her career, she has helped commercial, industrial, not-for-profit, religious and residential clients successfully resolve issues across all areas of real estate tax law. In particular, Graham has a history of reducing excessive real estate assessments to fair and equitable values for her wide variety of clients and property types.
Graham also has experience handling litigation and representing clients before the Court of Claims. Further, she serves as a Chair Qualified Arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County.
“We are incredibly excited to have Peggy join our team,” said Robert Linton, Chicago-based member and leader of Dykema’s real estate practice group. “Her track record of successfully managing complex real estate matters speaks for itself. Time and time again, Peggy has effectively managed real estate tax issues for her clients and we are fortunate to add someone with her experience to the team.”
Graham earned a J.D. from UIC John Marshall Law School, a B.A from Dominican University and is a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart.
