DynaCom Management, Inc. recently acquired a Class-A, 110,000-square-foot office/medical office building located at 387 Shuman Boulevard in Naperville, Illinois. Previously known as the GM Building, the property has great visibility off of I-88 in one of Chicago’s leading office submarkets, with exceptional demographics, amenities and economic drivers.
In addition to its prime location within a 3-mile radius of downtown Naperville, a Metra station and immediately between two prominent dinning corridors, features of 387 Shuman include on-site landlord and property management, janitorial and cleaning services available weekdays and access to high-speed Wi-fi throughout common areas with in-house fiber optics internet coming later this year. The building has 24-hour tenant access and ample parking with a ratio of four parking spots per 1,000 square feet occupied.
Dynacom has plans for major renovations to create a more modern and efficient building and also improve the building’s impressive aesthetics, including an atrium of floor-to-ceiling windows, fountains and live vegetation. Some of the planned improvements include upgrading HVAC systems, a more welcoming lobby and parking lot upgrades. The addition of 387 Shuman increases DynaCom’s portfolio by 30 percent, which translates to a total of 50 percent growth within the past three years.
