Earles Architects and Associates (EAA) completed four speculative suites and other corridor and lobby improvements for the landlord at 353 N. Clark St. in Chicago. The 27,000 square feet of new space is an initiative by CBRE to refresh the space and continually maintain high standards of office solutions and amenities.
Among the new features are 23,675-square-feet of speculative office suites on the 17th floor; revitalized corridors and lobby areas on the 17th and 22nd floors; and a new shoe shine stand on the ground floor.
The spec. suites offer high quality neutral finishes with complimentary pops of color at each suite. Each of the suites provides distinct lighting that lends itself to one of the following office environments: tech, industrial, loft, or traditional. The shoe shine is the popular “Shoe Drop’s” first full service stand amongst their many drop off locations.
The 45-story glass and steel building was built in 2009 and features a combination of Class A office and retail space, within the thriving River North neighborhood. Building ownership has invested significant efforts into providing tenants with top quality amenities, including a premier health club, a state-of-the-art conference center, secured bike storage, and other features. The building is LEED Platinum certified.
