SVN | Chicago Commercial has completed the sale of a 6-unit mixed use building located at 2935-37 N. Clark Street. The property sold for $1,860,000. Jeffrey Baasch and Wayne Caplan of SVN | Chicago Commercial represented the buyer in the transaction.

An entity controlled by Chicago based Glascott and Associates sold the property to a group led by developer John Livaditis. The building, which also has 9 exterior parking spaces, is adjacent to an approx. 12,000 SF parcel that the purchaser has previously acquired to develop approx. 20 new apartments, plus a ground floor restaurant.

“East Lakeview is one of Chicago’s most sought after locations for investment and development,” said Caplan, who along with Baasch also sold the adjacent property. “We don’t see this trend changing any time soon,” he added.
