Echo Development Group, Inc. has acquired an existing medical building in partnership with BrightView, an outpatient addiction medicine practice based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The property is located at 999 N. Main Street in Akron, Ohio, and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019.

Through the use of medication-assisted treatment in conjunction with psychological and social services, BrightView delivers the necessary support to help patients meet both their mental and physical goals. Currently, BrightView operates 8 clinics in various markets throughout Ohio.

“We are very excited about our partnership with BrightView and are honored to be able to help them with their mission of combating the opioid crisis,” said Echo Development Principal Jon Boyajian, in a statement. “It is terrible to think about, but every day, more than 130 people in the United States die from opioid overdose. Thankfully, there are innovative companies like BrightView that can implement successful treatment programs in an out-patient setting. Not everyone can afford an in-patient care option.”
