ElmTree Funds, which was launched in St. Louis in 2011 and has offices and affiliates across the country, announced that Andrew Truetzel has joined its team as an analyst.
Truetzel, who is from St. Louis but will be based out of ElmTree’s Chicago office, brings valuable experience to the firm. He most recently served as a corporate banking analyst in a well-known regional bank based in Missouri, where he was in charge of producing comprehensive credit packages, as well as analyzing and risk-rating potential commercial customers across various industry sectors. His experience also includes serving in a treasury position at an independent, wholesale brokerage firm in Chicago and as a research analyst in a multinational banking and financial services company in St. Louis.
In his new position, Truetzel works with the acquisitions team to underwrite property acquisitions and perform various credit analyses on potential and current tenants. He is also in charge of coordinating marketing efforts for the fund and performing property and net lease market research.
