Detroit-based commercial real estate brokerage firm Encore Real Estate Investment Services welcomes the return of Evan Lyons as senior director.

It improves my approach to client service in portfolio strategy, acquisition, and the investment sale.”
Lyons was a top agent at Encore from 2016-2021 when he was recruited by his Northeast, Ohio-based client, Tolson Enterprises to manage the entirety of their privately-owned dynamic 3.4 million-square-foot real estate portfolio. As director of operations, he oversaw real estate acquisition, disposition, leasing, development and marketing for the privately-held company. Lyons quickly grew Tolson’s asset count with three acquisitions of retail and industrial properties, handled build-to-suit developments for Fortune 100 companies (most notably TJX Companies, Inc.), increased revenue and reduced retail and office property vacancy rates via strategic acquisitions and new lease agreements. Yet despite his success, the business of brokerage strongly beckoned and in October 2022, Lyons returned to his roots and his passion, rejoining the Encore Team as an investment sales broker.
Lyons sold over $200 million in commercial real estate and boasts a track record of closing transactions at an average of 94% of list price. Lyons earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate development and finance from Central Michigan University. After graduating, he worked in the Chicago and Southfield, Michigan offices of Marcus & Millichap as a retail investment broker. He joined Encore in 2017 as senior advisor and was promoted to senior director in January 2020.
