Industry veteran and self storage broker Anne (Williams) Blackwell has joined EquiCap Commercial as a partner.
Based out of EquiCap’s new Memphis, Tennessee, office, Blackwell will continue to focus on self-storage investment sales and advisory services in the southeast.
Blackwell has served the self-storage industry for 24 years in many different capacities. She began her career at Storage USA (now Extra Space Storage) on the Acquisitions Team and later transitioned to Operations where she managed a 15-property portfolio in Memphis, Tennessee. She transitioned from operations to brokerage in 2006 when she opened the Memphis, Tennessee office for Marcus & Millichap.
In her brokerage career, Blackwell has successfully brokered over 150 self storage transactions. She prides herself on offering her clients relationship-based service relevant to acquisitions/dispositions, operations, market conditions, capital markets and economic trends affecting the self storage industry.
Blackwell is an active member and Board Member of the Tennessee Self Storage Association and the Mississippi Self Storage Owners Association. She is also a member of the Louisiana Self Storage Association.
