Equity|ECS, a full service commercial real estate firm, added two industry veterans to its Ohio offices, TJ Drought and Sloane Nichols. Both Drought and Nichols join as senior vice presidents.
Drought will be based in Columbus and Nichols in Cincinnati.
Drought has experience in strategy development, landlord and tenant representation, and transaction negotiations. Drought is active in advisory and leasing services for developers, investors and owners of retail and mixed-use environments. He also served as executive vice president/director of leasing for the Columbus-based real estate investment trust Washington Prime Group Inc., formerly Glimcher/WP Glimcher.
With 20 years of experience handling assignments in multiple U.S. markets, Nichols brings a background in commercial real estate with a focus on office and medical uses. Prior to joining Equity|ECS, Nichols worked with Colliers International in Cincinnati as brokerage vice president. She has previous experience with CBRE in the Atlanta and Charlotte markets. She is also active in many healthcare associations, including the Greater Cincinnati Healthcare Collaborative and the Autism Society.
In her new role, Nichols will be teaming with senior vice president of 17 years Elaine Gillespie to form Equity|ECS’s first brokerage team in Cincinnati focused on office and medical space.
