Eric Janssen of Chicago Real Estate Resources closes 2401 N. Halsted Street

Chicago Real Estate Resources‘ Eric Janssen has brokered the sale of 2401 N. Halsted St in Chicago to Newsjet, LLC, an affiliate of Newsweb Corporation for $13,000,000. Located on the northeast corner of Fullerton and Halsted, this 21,247 SF +/- two-story building (on a 37,099 SF site) was formerly owned and occupied by Corus Bank before Corus was acquired by MB Financial Bank in September of 2009. MB Financial Bank will remain on the site and is building out a new branch to continue to serve its customers in the area.

Newsweb Corporation, has moved its corporate offices to the new location and is currently selling its previous offices at 1645 W Fullerton. The almost 2-acre highly visible site in Lincoln Park is actively on the market for $8,725,000, also listed by Eric Janssen of CRER.
