James Vallort, Senior Vice President and Group Leader of Controls, Energy + Eco, and Commissioning at ESD (Environmental Systems Design, Inc.), was installed as a vice president of ASHRAE (the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers) at its 2014 Annual Conference on June 29 – July 2.
As a vice president, Vallort is a member of ASHRAE’s Board of Directors and the Executive Committee and serves as Vice Chair of the Technology Council. He also serves on the society level Finance Committee and is a member of ASHRAE’s SPC 211: Standard for Commercial Building Energy Audits, Residential Ad Hoc, Environmental Health, Refrigeration, Research Administration, Standards and Technical Activities committees.
