Chicago-based multifamily brokerage firm Essex Realty Group, Inc. recently facilitated the sale of a portfolio of four, six-unit multifamily properties in the North Cook County suburb of Prospect Heights. The buildings are situated within the Wimbledon Lakes Estates apartment complex.
The seller, a local investor, hired the Essex team of Brian Karmowski and Anthony Citriglia to exclusively market the property for sale. The portfolio went under contract after just two days on the market. The property sold within 98% of the list price to a local investor for $1,940,000.
The Prospect Heights portfolio is comprised of four properties within the Wimbledon Lakes Estates apartment complex. Each property has a total of six units, a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartment floorplans, plus a shared laundry room, and six parking spaces. The complex has an association in place which covers landscaping, snow removal, scavenger, and parking lot maintenance.
