Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton has appointed Cheryl Klinkhammer, executive director of senior housing development Trails of Orono, to the State of Minnesota Board on Aging. The board, whose members are appointed by the governor, is the gateway to services for Minnesota seniors and their families.
For more than 26 years, Klinkhammer has held leadership roles in the senior and social services industry. Since 2011, she has overseen Trails of Orono, a senior housing development in Orono, Minn., that offers 19 memory care apartments and 43 assisted living apartments.
