CBRE|Martin announced that Rule Eye Care Clinic has purchased the former R Club Restaurant located at 6409 Centurion Drive in Lansing, Michigan. Plans are to convert the 4,880-square-foot restaurant into a medical retail space.

Dr. Jeffrey Rule and his team decided it was time to expand and relocate their current practice near the corner of W. St. Joseph Hwy. and S. Waverly Road to a new location that would provide added space and parking for this growing clinic.

“We looked to build on the west side of town but we couldn’t find land in the location we wanted. When we found the R Club, we felt the location was perfect for us,” Dr. Rule, said. “Our goal is to become a full-service eye care facility that will include primary care, and retina and cataract specialty services. We are excited to be able to offer surgery right on site.”

Dr. Rule plans to add 1,250 square feet to the existing building while also constructing a 25-foot. parking canopy. Plans are to move into the newly renovated building by late fall 2016.

CBRE|Martin Senior Vice President of Brokerage Services, Shawn O’Brien, represented the seller, Kathy A. O’Neil, owner of the R Club Restaurant, in the transaction.
