Filling the hall: More than 250 flock to first annual Milwaukee CRE Summit

Was the first annual Milwaukee CRE Summit a success? Why not let the numbers tell the story? More than 250 CRE professionals filled the meeting room at The Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee on July 30. That’s a big crowd, especially for a first-time event.

During the summit, held by Midwest Real Estate News and REJournals.com, multifamily, industrial, office and retail pros from the Milwaukee area discussed the highs and lows of their city’s CRE market. Developers, too, took to the stage to share their thoughts on construction activity throughout the market.

The news was good. According to these CRE pros, all of the commercial sectors in Milwaukee are either in solid growth mode or adapting to a changing environment. The Milwaukee market’s multifamily and industrial sectors are especially strong today, and office owners report that downtown Milwaukee has become a top draw for companies.
