Charter NEX Films will expand its Milton, Wis., operations by about 20,000 square feet to accommodate increased production and related warehousing capacities. More than a dozen new jobs are anticipated once the company’s multi-million dollar expansion is complete and operational. Construction is scheduled for July of 2014.

Charter NEX Films manufacturers monolayer, coextruded and barrier-blown films for a wide variety of high-performance packaging applications. The company, which established its Milton location in 1995, has expanded its Crossroads Business Park facility several times.

James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development manager, said in a written statement, “This expansion provides another example of the strong manufacturing environment provided by the Janesville-Beloit MSA.”
