Philip Ruben has rejoined law firm Firsel Ross as Of Counsel to the firm’s established team of commercial real estate and corporate attorneys at its principal office in Bannockburn, Illinois, according to the firm.
Ruben has been in private practice for more than 30 years, and his areas of concentration include corporate, real estate, transactional, and securities matters, serving privately-held and public companies of all sizes.
Ruben’s experience includes representing software companies in dealing with license agreements, intellectual property issues, including infringement claims, and re-seller agreements for distribution. Others areas of experience include capital raising (in the form of either equity or leverage), financing, and structuring of transactions relating to the acquisition, sale or other disposition of entities or their assets. He counsels clients with respect to day-to-day business matters, governance and structuring, including tax, succession and estate planning.
