First Bank of Highland Park appoints Eric Ephraim as president and COO

First Bank of Highland Park (FBHP) has appointed Eric Ephraim as president and chief operating officer. Ephraim’s responsibilities will include executing the bank’s strategic plan for growth and leading the funding and operations of the bank.

Ephraim has been in the financial services industry for over two decades. He joined FBHP in 2011 as vice president/finance followed by a succession of promotions leading up to chief financial officer in 2016. Ephraim previously worked for The PrivateBank, Allstate Corporation and Arthur Andersen LLP.

Ephraim was raised in Highland Park and has deep roots in the community. He attended Highland Park public schools, graduated from Highland Park High School and currently serves as the District 112 Board President. He is an active leader in the community and volunteers with several other community and civic organizations. He graduated from Syracuse University and also attended the accounting studies program at DePaul University. Ephraim is a registered CPA in the state of Illinois. Ephraim currently resides in Highland Park with his wife and two sons.
