The first luxury apartments in the mixed-use Meridian Plaza in Glen Carbon, Illinois, in the St. Louis region will debut in May 2025. Builder MBG has the 144-unit Latitude 38 apartments under roof and is focusing on interior spaces and amenities for developer Mia Rose Holdings.
Meridian Plaza is a 44-acre, mixed-use development at the southeast corner of Route 157 and Meridian Road.
Located on a 12-acre site at 92 Magnolia Drive, the 130,000-square-foot, four building complex will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom garden-style apartments serving a range of lifestyles. Amenities include:

Well-appointed living space features a quartz kitchen peninsula and countertops, subway tile backsplash, high-end flooring, washer and dryer, a private patio or balcony with storage, large bedrooms and linen closets, stainless steel appliances, quartz bathroom vanities and nine-foot ceilings.
Latitude 38’s wood-framed buildings include masonry fiber cement siding and a gabled roof. When the entire project is completed this fall the complex will host one 24-unit building, two 36-unit buildings and one 48-unit building. It will offer 72 one-bedroom units, 66 two-bedroom units and six three-bedroom units. Kunkel Wittenauer is handling leasing.
