Fitzgerald Earles Architects and Associates (FEAA) has completed design work on 13,400 square feet of space for Hillard Heintze, a global security firm. Construction is now starting on the space at 30 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago.
Hillard Heintze is moving its corporate headquarters to new space on a different floor in the building and expanding its footprint significantly. The firm is moving from the 17th floor to the 14th floor in the Loop building.
FEAA completed extensive planning and site analysis to determine the ideal floor plan and location for Hillard Heintze, which provides strategic security and investigative services to corporations, public entities and high net worth individuals and families around the world. The new floor plan design will add a modern corporate look and a flexible office design that allows for large meeting space as well as efficient employee work areas.
The space features a modern, open reception area that abuts a large glass front conference room and a glass front internal meeting room. The space will include 15 glass front private offices and 44 open workstations with flexible space for employees to use when collaborating on projects. The office also will include a large, dedicated, high-tech business intelligence and information-sharing center as well as an upgraded break room and lounge for employees. Construction is being performed by REM Contracting Corp. of Lemont. The building is managed by Tishman Speyer.
Construction is scheduled for completion by year end.
