The Landing, a mixed-use development in Mount Vernon, Ind., held its grand-opening celebration Feb. 20.
Constructed by Flaherty & Collins and co-developed by 21st Century Leadership Posey County and J. Higgs Development, The Landing is a mix of 52 residential units. Made up of 46 units of affordable housing and six market-rate units, the property also features nearly 8,000 square feet of retail space.
Units range from 700 square feet to 2,175 square feet, and are equipped with energy efficient appliances, washer and dryer units and ceramic tile in the bathrooms.
As of the grand opening, Bliss Artisan (ice cream, sandwich and coffee shop) has committed to retail space.
