Joint-development partners The Missner Group and Timber Hill Group announced a new lease at their industrial development at 1075 Chaddick Drive in Wheeling, Illinois.
Hidden Valley Manufacturing Company has signed a seven-year lease to occupy 53,000 square feet of the new building. Located in close proximity to O’Hare, the interstate system and a skilled labor force, this is an attractive option for Hidden Valley Ranch to manufacture and distribute their merchandise, which includes the company’s signature salad dressings, seasonings, meal kits and food products.
“We have constructed a high-quality building in a premium location with long term tax relief, allowing us to solidify a lease with a company of this magnitude,” said Barry Missner, CEO of The Missner Group.
The modern, 84,000-square-foot facility lies within the Northeast Cook County sub-market of Chicago, making it eligible for Cook County’s Class 6B tax incentive status. The property features attractive precast and glass elevations, an ESFR fire safety system, 30-foot ceiling clear heights, 10 exterior loading docks, two drive-in doors and 99 parking stalls.
Brett Kroner, Keith Puritz and Eric Fischer of Cushman & Wakefield represented ownership in this transaction, with Liz Roberts of Cresa representing the tenant. The Missner Group is on track to finish construction this fall.
