Former Citigroup president joins board at Money360

John Havens, former president and chief operating officer of Citigroup, has joined the board of advisors of Money360, a technology-enabled direct lender that specializes in commercial real estate loans.

Havens will help shape strategy and business development plans for Money360 and its subsidiary, M360 Advisors, an investment management company.

Prior to serving as president of Citigroup, Havens served as chairman of Citigroup Alternative Investments following Citigroup’s 2007 acquisition of Old Lane LP. Old Lane was a hedge fund and private equity fund that Havens co-founded in 2006.

Before joining Citigroup, Havens held various roles with Morgan Stanely during almost two decades, ultimately ascending to global head of the institutional equity division and a member of the firm’s management committee.
