Fort Wayne’s Sturges Property Group makes two hires

Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Sturges Property Group has added Summer Hawana as assistant property manager and Kendall Stevens as marketing copywriting intern.

As the newest assistant property manager for Sturges Property Group, Hawana brings a background of more than five years in both residential and commercial property management. She recently moved to Fort Wayne and has plans on furthering her career in the real estate industry. In addition to Hawana’s property management experience, she is fluent in Arabic.

Prior to coming to Fort Wayne, Hawana worked at AMI Properties, a residential management company, where she grew her many skills in all facets of management.

Hawana’s newfound hobby and passion has become baking. She owns and operates Summer’s Sweeties, which specializes in middle eastern sweets as well as birthday cakes.

Stevens currently attends Grove City College in Pennsylvania where she studies both English and French. She also holds an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Grace College. As a student of English, Stevens will use her expertise in grammar and rhetoric to assist in improving the quality and comprehensibility of content released by the marketing department.

As the marketing copywriting Intern for Sturges Property Group, Stevens will write new blog posts and edit former content. She previously worked as a freelance writer for Maintenance Management.
