Savills announced the completion of a 23,500-square-foot office lease and buildout for its client, Foth. The firm relocated to the historic Carpenter Building in downtown Des Moines, located at 106 S.W. 7th St.
Lease negotiations for Foth were managed by Savills Senior Managing Director Ashley Moen and Assistant Director Andrew Yung, while Director of Project Management Jon Theis led the buildout to execution.
The project spans the second and third floors, with an interconnected stairwell to foster team cohesion and collaboration. The Savills team worked closely with the building’s developer to ensure the renovation honored the building’s heritage while enhancing its functionality for modern office use. Foth’s relocation into this historical locale not only provides an optimized environment for its team but also underscores its commitment to maintaining a strong presence within Des Moines and its surrounding communities.
The Carpenter Building, constructed in 1918, is a 50,000-square-foot building that has recently completed a full-scale restoration to Class A office space. Situated in downtown Des Moines, the building offers amenities such as a fitness center, game room, and conferencing facilities for its tenants.
