The Wisconsin office of Opus Development Corporation recently celebrated the scheduled openings of T.J Maxx, Ulta Salon and Cosmetics, Rue 21 and Charming Charlie’s in Opus’ Shoppes at Fox River Development in Waukesha, Wis.

The new retailers are scheduled to open by Oct. 28.

Opus broke ground on the first development in Phase II of the Shoppes at Fox River in April of 2012. The development includes more than 47,000 square feet of retail space on six acres of land adjacent to the existing Phase I buildings. The first Phase II building is located on the northeast corner of the site, in line with the Pick ‘n Save.

“We are excited that the new stores will be open in time for the holiday shopping season,” said Julie Ledger, vice president and general manager at Opus Development Corporation. “These four high-quality retailers will provide new options for Waukesha-area shoppers, and I have no doubt that these stores will see similar success to the retail tenants included in the Phase I of the development.”

Phase I of the Shoppes at Fox River opened in July of 2009, with final construction completed in September of 2010. It includes about 273,000 square feet of retail space. Currently, Phase I is 100-percent occupied, including a 132,000-square-foot Target and a 60,000-square-foot LEED-Silver certified Pick ‘n Save grocery store.
