Three companies, Swoon Technology Resources, NextGen Global Resources and Ironshore Inc., have all signed new leases that will expand their footprint at Chicago’s 300 South Wacker Drive.
Tech consulting firm Swoon Technology Resources is growing from 3,630 to 10,355 square feet, telecom industry recruiting and HR consulting firm NextGen Global Resources is expanding from 1,926 to 5,178 square feet and insurance provider Ironshore is growing from 8,941 square feet to 15,509 square feet. In addition, legal services provider Discovery Services LLC has signed a new lease for 3,566 square feet.
Beacon Capital Partners, LLC, which acquired 300 South Wacker in August, is underway with a multi-million-dollar building renovation program that will include a redesigned lobby, upgraded corridors and restrooms, a new state-of the- art fitness center, conference facilities and several new “spec suites.” The project is being overseen by JLL’s Project & Development Services team.
Beacon Capital Partners and JLL’s Melissa Rubenstein and John Beason completed the four transactions, which totalled more than 34,000 square feet. The 35-story, 535,726-square-foot building is now 88 percent leased.
