Elkay recently added Franco Savoni to the senior leadership team, a promotion that follows a change last fall that brought Elkay’s international plumbing business under Savoni’s leadership. In recognition of this significant expansion of his role, Savoni was promoted to executive vice president, Elkay Plumbing.
“Franco is a creative force at Elkay,” said Ted Hamilton, president Elkay Plumbing, when asked about the move. “He brings great leadership and a renewed energy to our product development efforts that inspires our team to new levels. His sense of where the market is going is without rival, and we are fortunate to have him joining our senior leadership bench.”
Savoni began working for Elkay in September 2007, as product engineering manager. Since that time he has held a number of roles with increasing levels of responsibility within the plumbing business. Savoni holds an MBA in strategic leadership from Lawrence Technological University and a bachelors of mechanical engineering from the University of Windsor.
