Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood has landed its first major national clothing retailer. Free People has signed a new lease for 10,950 square feet at 1101 W. Randolph St., and plans to occupy two floors.
On the main floor, Free People will have a 5,310-square-foot flagship storefront, offering its full women’s fashion line, while on the second floor, it will offer a 3,440-square-foot wholesale showroom. The retailer will also have 2,200 square feet in the building’s basement.
Free People is a specialty clothing brand, featuring the latest trends and vintage collections for women who live free through fashion, art, music, and travel.
Sharon Kahan, first vice president at CBRE, represented Madison Realty in the transaction, while Staci Joyce, vice president-Central Region, of the McDevitt Company represented Free People.
