Avani Living, a 180,000-square-foot mixed-use development featuring 107 units of contemporary apartments, has opened in the heart of Rochester, Minnesota. Avani Living is managed by Miracle Market LLC.
The five-story development at 1620 Center St. West in Rochester was built by Kraus-Anderson Construction and includes residential atop a Fresh Thyme Farmers Market grocery and liquor center, café, cleaners, salon and heated underground parking.
Designed by Kaas Wilson Architects, the urban community features a club-quality wellness center, billiards, group workspaces and a furnished rooftop terrace. Created to promote healthy lifestyles, the outdoor living and entertainment space provides opportunities for numerous activities as well as an extension of the wellness center for indoor and outdoor yoga and other heath related events.
Avani Living was constructed over a portion of original Miracle Mile shopping center, which Kraus-Anderson built in 1952.
