Doner, longtime icon of the Detroit advertising landscape, is moving its headquarters to a modern space designed for today’s new, hybrid working model. In the summer of 2021, Doner will open a new location at 400 Galleria Officentre in Southfield, Michiggan.
Friedman Real Estate helped Doner find its new space.
Designed by interior design firm, Vocon, the 62,000-square-foot space will house Doner’s more than 375 employees. Every meeting space will feature the latest multi-presence capabilities, allowing for new levels of in-person and virtual co-creation as the agency evolves into a new working model. The space will also include an advanced air filtration and purification system.
“This new space – and the state-of-the-art content studio we are building – will deepen the value we provide our clients, while allowing teams to work on- and off-site easily, safely and efficiently,” said Eric Weisberg, Global Chief Creative Officer at Doner. “The team at Friedman Real Estate helped us find a smart, modern space that can accommodate continued growth.”
“Doner has spent nearly 85 years cementing itself as a hallmark of the advertising industry, servicing some of the world’s greatest brands. When Doner came to us, we knew this modern, well-appointed property would make the perfect fit for the agency’s next chapter,” said David Friedman, Executive Managing Director, President, and CEO at Friedman Real Estate.
Headquartered in Detroit since 1937, Doner works with many of today’s most sophisticated and modern brands including Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles, McDonald’s, Johnson & Johnson, Netflix, Amazon, UPS, Coca-Cola, and many others.
