Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions recently sold 19,350-square-foot and 21,500-square-foot flex buildings at the Southfield Research Park in Southfield, Mich. The company also sold 21666 Melrose Ave. in Southfield.
The seller, RREF KB_MI STRI, LLC, sold the building to Chris Wells, president of Nexcess.
The purchaser is a University of Michigan graduate who expanded his cloud –based business, Nexcess, during the recession as many companies sought his services after their then current providers went out of business.
Nexcess provides web hosting solutions from shared hosting and virtual private servers to dedicated servers, server clusters and equipment co-location.
Dan Verderbar, vice president of brokerage services, and Rick Tabbi, brokerage associate, bot at Friedman, represented the seller and the buyer in this transaction.
