Friedman Real Estate facilitated the consolidation and relocation of Guardian Alarm’s headquarters to a new 37,111-square-foot leased office space at 26711 Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan.
Friedman also sold the company’s 66,000-square-foot former office location at the intersection of 8 Mile Road and the Southfield Freeway. Guardian utilized Friedman’s design and facilities management services at its current headquarters and will continue at its new location.
Friedman’s Dan Verderbar completed the relocation, new lease and sale on behalf of Guardian.
The new headquarters location will include a state-of-the-art alarm monitoring command center, updated training facilities, and an expanded customer care center. From digital product walls and interactive displays to an enhanced training and onboarding experience, the updated workspace will welcome more opportunities for innovation and collaboration for the team.
In addition, the move will allow Guardian Alarm to consolidate its administrative offices, which are currently located in two separate buildings. The move is expected to be complete by late summer.
