FTK Construction Services has completed its first renovation project for Blue Ridge Atlantic. The Park at Kirkstall is a 240-unit affordable housing community built in 2003 in Houston, Texas.
The contract value was more than $12.4 million, while the project duration was 21 months to complete. The architect for the project was Benton Design Group. The lender was Lument and the investor was Hudson Housing Capital.
The property, at 300 Kirkstall Drive in Houston, is a preservation project that included both interior and exterior renovations. Specific enhancements included flooring, paint, appliances, countertops, cabinets, door and cabinet hardware, bathroom fixtures and light fixtures.
Other updates included roofing, HVAC, water heaters, a new playground, grilling patio, horseshoe pit and other various site improvements.
