GBT Realty is preparing to add the residential component to its envisioned suburban mixed-use project in Nashville’s Nolensville Pike submarket, southeast of downtown.
The firm closed on the construction loan for Southcrest Reserve, a three-story, 108-unit multifamily complex adjacent to the firm’s retail center Southcrest Center, already under construction. Commerce Bank provided the construction loan.
On track to begin opening this spring, Southcrest Center, a 12,100-square-foot unanchored community center, features the following household names in quick serve restaurants, fitness clubs and automotive maintenance providers:
• Scooter’s Coffee (opening spring 2022)
• Orange Theory (opening spring 2022)
• Heartland Dental (opening spring 2022)
• Valvoline (opening spring 2022)
• Wendy’s (opening spring 2022)
• McAlister’s Deli (opening fall 2022)
Located along Nolensville Pike and Old Burkitt Road, the multifamily community offers a clubhouse, fitness facility, lounge and coworking areas, and pool and communal grills. Hardcastle Construction Company is set to begin construction immediately with a targeted completion of fall 2023. Barnett Design Studio designed the residential community.
Southcrest Center and Southcrest Reserve continue GBT’s significant investment in the Nolensville Pike area. The firm is also developing the 7-Eleven adjacent to site between Old Burkitt and Burkitt Roads, and recently development Aldi-anchored Southpointe Marketplace immediately north.
