GBT Realty Corporation unveiled new details for its latest mixed-use tower at a well-known intersection between West End and Elliston in Nashville, Tennessee.
Named The Sinclair, the development anchored at 2416 West End is now fully entitled to advance after its Preliminary Specific Plan was approved last month by Nashville’s Metro Council. As part of its plan, the real estate firm committed to funding $1.25 million of offsite public improvements following extensive communication with neighboring stakeholders. Tower construction is expected to commence early 2023.
The 27-story building will feature up to 375 residential units, ground floor retail and restaurant space and all below-grade parking. Residents will have exceptional access to neighborhood amenities such as restaurants and Centennial Park and access to a major West End transportation corridor.
As lead architect and designer of The Sinclair, Gresham Smith & Partners envisions a statement building worthy of one of Nashville’s most known intersections.
“The Sinclair’s design utilizes strong lines, texture and dynamic form to create slender verticality and movement within the sky, ensuring a design that is an exciting, original and a memorable addition to Nashville,” states Brian Hubbard, AIA, Senior Architect at Gresham Smith. The building begins with anchored scale on West End and then elegantly cascades down in height to the more pedestrian and existing scale of Elliston.
