GDI Companies has begun construction of a 1.017-million-square-foot speculative distribution building for Core5 Industrial Partners in the Hendricks Gateway Park in Hendricks County, Indiana.
The building will be cross-docked, have 40-foot clear height, 100 dock positions, 222 trailer parking spaces and 577 car parking spaces. Hendricks Gateway Park is located at the southwest corner of the Interstate-70 interchange and State Route 39 in Hendricks County.
This will be the third building constructed in the park within the past 12 months, totaling 2.5 million square feet of distribution space. GDI is completing construction of the first two buildings, a 1.07-million-square-foot facility and a 440,000-square-foot facility.
