Gensler announces three new principals in Dallas

Gensler is proud to announce that three members of the Dallas office team have been promoted to principal: Alejandro Guerrero, Joshua Metzger, and Justin Bashaw.

Alejandro provides practice area expertise to residential, hotel, office, and mixed-use projects. He has worked on award winning projects across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America, and has developed an expertise in developments that integrate buildings and public space. Conceived through a rigorous and highly collaborative process, Alejandro’s work integrates and enhances public space, improves communities, and achieves timeless solutions that are inspired in tradition and driven by contemporary culture.

Alejandro is a registered architect in Mexico and a member of the American Institute of Architects holding a professional license in Texas and New York. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Monterrey Institute of Technology in Monterrey, Mexico, and a Master of Science, architecture & urban design, with distinction from Columbia University.

Joshua offers expertise in all aspects of the architectural design process and management on projects in technology, professional services, and financial services. Overseeing various global accounts, he leads teams in multiple regions across the firm to build strategic relationships in new markets. Joshua’s substantial experience makes him nimble, innovative, and consistently reliable.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a registered architect and interior designer in Texas. Joshua earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the Art Institute of Dallas, and a Master of Architecture from the Academy of Art University.

Justin delivers practice area expertise to office developers, culture + museums, mixed use, and retail centers projects, offering artful designs while remaining technically rigorous as demonstrated in his base building architecture and building repositioning expertise. Justin leads his practice area, and the firm, with a creative flair for conceiving groundbreaking designs with a methodical discipline and attention to detail. Signature projects include Amerisource Bergen Headquarters, Frisco Public Library, Metrocrest Services, SRS Distribution Headquarters, and Toyota Music Factory.

Justin is a member of the American Institute of Architect, is a registered architect and interior designer in Texas, and holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture from Judson University.
