Gerry Guerrero, AIA, has joined HOK in Chicago as senior vice president and co-director of the firm’s global Justice practice. He comes to HOK with 28 years of justice design and project management experience, serving local, state, federal and private clients.
Guerrero joins HOK’s firm-wide Justice practice as a senior vice president and co-leader with Jeff Goodale, senior vice president, and Jeff Bradley, vice president.
HOK’s Justice team designs police facilities, crime labs and emergency operations centers, courthouses, detention and correctional centers, and reintegration facilities. Its design strategies improve the operations, aesthetics, sustainability and social purpose of these buildings. Recent justice projects include the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison, Iowa; the DeWitt Nelson Correctional Annex in Stockton, Calif.; the San Mateo Replacement Jail in Redwood City, Calif.; the Richard A. Arnason Courthouse in Pittsburg, Calif.; and the San Francisco Public Safety Building.
