The Chicago office of Duke Realty Corporation inked a lease agreement with Eaton, a provider of power management technologies and services, for its newest facility in Woodridge, Illinois.

The company announced the start of the 370,973-square-foot speculative development in August of 2021. Now 100 percent preleased, it is scheduled for completion in July 2022.

Duke Realty’s development on about 21 acres at 10000 Woodward Ave. in Woodridge, on the east end of the I-55 submarket, offers proximity to the city of Chicago and the I-355 and I-55 interchanges. The facility will have 36’ clear height, 37 dock doors, four drive-in doors, 44 trailer spaces and 343 parking spaces. It is being built to LEED® certification standards — meeting requirements for environmentally sustainable construction and site development, water savings, energy efficiency and construction waste management.

Jason Lev with CBRE represented the tenant in lease negotiations while Duke Realty was represented by Jason West and Sean Henrick at Cushman Wakefield.
