Cleland started with The Goldie Initiative as a temporary employee in October 2017 and was hired as program assistant in January 2018. Cleland received a bachelor of arts in strategic communications and radio, TV and film University of Wisconsin-Madison. With a unique strategy of scholarship, mentoring, networking and professional development, The Goldie Initiative cultivates talented women into future leaders. The program supports women pursuing graduate-level studies in business, law or management with a focus on real estate. The organization raised $425,000 for their annual Goldie Gala in September and earlier this year announced a record-breaking 20 Goldie Scholars chosen for the 2018-19 academic year.
